A week long exhibition of ideas will be on display in the Sligo School Project (beside St. Annes’ Church) from Monday 14th to Saturday 19th July (open Mon-Fri 10am -7pm and 12 noon to 4pm Saturday). The Cranmore Regeneration Masterplan process is now at Stage 3, the ideas and brainstorming stage. A multi-disciplinary design team is working for the Regeneration Project to provide a long term Regeneration Masterplan to meet the needs of the local communities, and to make the most of the many opportunities that are in the East City area.
The design team ideas to be displayed have been generated from consultations with residents, agencies and local businesses, alongside the team’s own findings and analysis. The exhibition will present a range of possibilities for the east city area, to promote the social, physical and economic regeneration of the area. A questionnaire will be available for people to give feedback on the ideas. The findings from the consultations will help the development of a long term realistic plan. Everyone is welcome to come along and see the ideas on display, staff will be on hand to answer questions and explain the ideas. This is an exciting point in the Regeneration Masterplan process.
